A passionate smartphone geek, Raveesh has been in mobile development for over two years now. His first mobile was a Nokia N95, and immediately fell in love with the ability to extend the device's capabilities by installing third-party applications. He became a firm believer immediately that smartphones have the power to be the most personal devices ever, and that the key lay in providing users with as much control over customization as possible.
Raveesh is responsible for all the visual aspects of Apps Culture's various creations, right from the early stages of the design to the implementation. He's spent a huge amount of time understanding user experience, which has become his forte.
Shashank digs just about anything and everything related to artificial intelligence and machine learning. A hugely talented back-end developer, he's the face behind our most innovative server-side systems. While his efforts might not be "seen" by the users, they surely feel them, right from the extremely data efficient CMS that powered our first app, to the server system for Quirky Cricket, and soon the algorithms that will power our next venture.
Even the best of apps need a ton of effort on the business-side of things, a lesson we learnt the hard way early on. Fortunately, we found a solution for our problem when we met Parul in June 2011. Ever since, she's taken care of all the work outside of the daily development activities, firstly getting our house in order (we were looking to build just about anything and everything), helping us ideate to come up with our next big idea, and making sure that we have user feedback for each and every feature we plan for our next venture.
Simply put, she lets us geeks focus completely on the code.
Manik has brought invaluable experience to our team, especially considering the number of years he has spent in mobile advertising (Manik's day-to-day job is as Director of Monetization at Amobee, one of the foremost players in the space).
